Bio

I received my Ph.D. degree in 2023 from Ben-Gurion University of Negev, Israel, where I conducted comprehensive research on effects of root zone chilling and salinity stress on plants. My work integrated morphological, physiological, and biochemical analytical techniques to unravel plant responses to these combined stressors. Now I am interested in studying circadian regulation of floret development in sunflowers. By employing molecular and bioinformatical approaches, I aim to elucidate the mechanisms underlying distinct floret development patterns induced by diverse light-dark conditions. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new culinary adventures through experimental cooking and taking advantage of California’s splendid weather through hiking excursions.
